On February 28, 2025, Eco Logic and the Municipality of Kochani organized a successful pilot session as part of the Erasmus+ PRepare project. The session aimed to strengthen the capacities of municipal staff to support the development and promotion of sustainable tourism practices at the local level.

Held under Work Package 3 – Capacity Building, the session gathered 27 municipal employees, who participated in the training and shared feedback on both the training program and the newly developed e-learning platform.

The main focus was on Training Program 1: Environmental Protection and Its Link to Tourism, while participants were also introduced to Training Program 2, which covers green skills development and workplace change management.

The session included interactive discussions, practical exercises, and hands-on testing of the e-learning platform, designed to provide flexible and accessible learning for those working in or entering the tourism sector.

This pilot not only confirmed the relevance and quality of the training materials and platform, but also highlighted the project’s core mission: equipping local stakeholders with green skills to promote sustainable tourism and unlock green employment opportunities, especially for young people.
