In early June 2025, the North Macedonian partners of the PRepare project — Eco Logic and the Municipality of Kochani — organized two educational workshops focused on the topic of sustainable tourism. The events were held in Kochani and aimed at strengthening the capacities of local stakeholders, including young people, educators, and municipal employees, in promoting and developing sustainable local tourism practices.

Participants were introduced to the e-learning program on sustainable tourism, developed as part of the Erasmus+ PRepare project. Through interactive presentations and open discussions, they explored key aspects of the tourism sector, the rising opportunities in green jobs, and the importance of community-led sustainable initiatives.

A highlight of the workshops was the collaborative development of creative green tourism ideas, with a strong emphasis on showcasing Kochani’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and local gastronomy as unique assets for sustainable tourism promotion.
