As the PRepare project nears its completion, the North Macedonian team — Eco Logic and the Municipality of Kochani — will organize a Final Info Day in October to present the key results, achievements, and impact of the project in the country.

The event will take place in Kochani and will bring together a wide range of stakeholders, including young people, municipal representatives, educators, tourism professionals, and NGOs working in the fields of sustainable tourism, education, and green development.

Throughout the project’s implementation, the North Macedonia team has carried out a series of impactful activities:

  • a national research on green skills and sustainable tourism,
  • a co-creation workshop with local stakeholders,
  • development of a training program and a dedicated e-learning platform,
  • pilot testing sessions, hands-on workshops, and Info Days aimed at raising awareness and building capacity at the local level.

So far, over 200 individuals from North Macedonia have been directly involved in these activities, with the most engaged groups being local youth and municipal employees. The project has not only increased awareness of sustainable tourism but has also sparked growing interest in digital learning tools and the use of e-learning for professional development in the tourism sector.

The Info Day will serve as a platform to reflect on lessons learned, celebrate the efforts of participants, and share best practices developed during the project.

To close the project, the Eco Logic and Municipality of Kochani team will also participate in the Final Partner Meeting and Conference in Uşak, Turkey this November, where partners from Turkey, Italy, Greece, and North Macedonia will gather to formally conclude the project and explore future collaboration opportunities.
